1. Eligibility & Use of Services
Our Services are intended for:
- Students enrolling in grades 9–12
- Parents or legal guardians acting on behalf of students
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must complete enrollment and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful and educational purposes.
2. Educational Services
American Heritage Online High School provides:
- Online courses (live and self-paced formats)
- Academic support and advising
- Enrollment and course management tools
We reserve the right to:
- Modify course offerings or schedules
- Update curriculum and instructional methods
- Assign or change instructors as needed
3. Enrollment & Account Responsibility
When enrolling, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep login credentials secure
- Promptly update any changes to your information
Parents/guardians are responsible for:
- Monitoring student participation
- Ensuring compliance with school policies
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
- False information
- Misuse of the platform
- Violation of these Terms
4. Tuition, Payments, and Refunds
Tuition and fees are clearly disclosed during enrollment.
By enrolling, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable tuition and fees
- Authorize payment processing through our platform
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Reimbursement Policy (available on our website).
Failure to make payments may result in:
- Suspension of course access
- Withholding of transcripts or academic records (as permitted by law)
5. Student Conduct & Academic Integrity
Students are expected to:
- Participate respectfully in all classes and communications
- Complete their own work
- Follow all academic integrity guidelines
Prohibited behavior includes:
- Cheating or plagiarism
- Disruptive or inappropriate conduct
- Misuse of school technology
Violations may result in:
- Removal from a course
- Academic penalties
- Suspension or dismissal
6. Technology Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Disrupt or interfere with the platform
- Share login credentials with others
We may suspend access if we detect suspicious or harmful activity.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, and resources provided by AHSO are owned by or licensed to us.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, or resell materials
- Share course content outside your household
Materials are provided solely for educational use.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We are committed to protecting student and family information in accordance with applicable laws and best practices.
9. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party providers, including Shopify and other education or technology platforms, to deliver parts of our Services.
We are not responsible for the independent policies of those providers.
10. Disclaimers
We strive to provide high-quality education, but we do not guarantee:
- Specific academic outcomes
- Admission to colleges or universities
- Uninterrupted access to the platform
Services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AHSO is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data or academic progress due to technical issues
- Interruptions beyond our reasonable control
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Services if:
- These Terms are violated
- Payments are not made
- Continued participation is deemed inappropriate
You may withdraw from courses according to our refund policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Utah Fits All (UFA) Scholarship Program
- American Heritage Online High School may participate in the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program (“UFA”), which provides eligible families with state-funded scholarships to support educational expenses.By enrolling and indicating intent to use UFA funds, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Eligibility & Approval
- UFA funding is administered by third-party program managers and the State of Utah.
- AHSO does not determine eligibility or guarantee approval for UFA funding.
- Families are responsible for completing all required applications and documentation.
Use of Funds
- UFA funds may be applied to eligible tuition and educational services as permitted by the program.
- Use of funds is subject to UFA rules, guidelines, and restrictions, which may change at any time.
Payment Responsibility
- If UFA funds are delayed, denied, reduced, or revoked for any reason, the parent/guardian remains fully responsible for all tuition and fees.
- Enrollment is not contingent upon receipt of UFA funds.
Compliance Requirements
- Families agree to comply with all UFA program requirements, including:
- Maintaining required documentation
- Completing any required portfolio or reporting submissions
- Meeting participation or attendance expectations, if applicable
- Failure to comply with UFA requirements may result in loss of funding and/or impact enrollment status.
Information Sharing
- By participating in UFA, you authorize AHSO to share necessary student and enrollment information with program administrators or state agencies as required to:
- Verify enrollment
- Process funding
- Maintain compliance
Program Changes
- AHSO is not responsible for changes to the UFA program, including:
- Funding amounts
- Eligibility criteria
- Application timelines
- Administrative processes
